Preparing for Your Online Spiritual Hypnosis Session

This information is for clients who have already scheduled a session.

Your upcoming session is a sacred invitation to pause, go within, and reconnect with the wisdom of your soul. Whether this is your first experience with hypnosis or part of your continued journey, preparing your space and mindset will help you fully receive the healing, clarity, and insight that await you.

Create a Supportive, Distraction-Free Space

  • ~ Choose a quiet, private room where you won’t be interrupted. Make sure no one will be listening in or entering the room unexpectedly.

 

  • ~ Let anyone you live with know that you’ll be in session and unavailable, and please ensure that pets won’t scratch, bark, meow, or interrupt your experience. (That said, if your cat gently settles on your lap and sleeps—that's okay too. You know your space best.)

 

  • ~ Have a blanket nearby in case of temperature changes and any props you may need to feel fully comfortable (such as a pillow under your knees or a neck support). Your body should feel well-supported for the length of the session.

Equipment Checklist

  • ~ Use a laptop or desktop computer (not a phone) with a working camera and microphone.

 

  • ~ Have your device plugged in for the duration of the session.

 

  • ~ Install or update the Zoom app before your appointment.

 

  • ~ Use a headset with a movable microphone (not earbuds or gaming headsets). Wired is preferred over Bluetooth to avoid power or connection issues.

 

  • ~ Position your camera to show your full face and upper chest while lying down. A side view is ideal. Stabilize the setup so it won’t shift if you move.

 

  • ~ Test your sound and video settings the day before, and make sure you have a strong internet connection.

On the Day of Your Session

  • ~ Be seated at your computer at your scheduled appointment time. We'll begin with a conversation before you lie down for the hypnosis portion.

 

  • ~ Use the restroom beforehand and have water nearby. It’s okay if you need to get up during the session—coming in and out of hypnosis can deepen the process.

 

  • ~ If the call drops, simply open your eyes and reconnect to the Zoom meeting calmly.

Prepare Your Body, Mind & Spirit

  • ~ Rest well the night before so you feel clear and alert.

 

  • ~ Eat something light before the session to stay grounded and focused. If you’re fasting for spiritual or energetic reasons, that’s fine—just make sure your body feels stable and your mind can remain attentive.

 

  • ~ Avoid alcohol or recreational substances for at least 24 hours prior. Prescribed medications may be taken as usual.

 

  • ~ No need to send me any information ahead of time. Your subconscious knows exactly what is ready to be revealed and healed.

 

  • ~ If you meditate or pray, spend a few minutes in reflection before your session. If not, simply engage in something calming like a mindful walk, journaling, or deep breathing.

Let Go of Expectations

Every session is unique. You may remember everything or just some pieces. You might feel like you "made it up"—this is completely normal. Hypnosis is not sleep; it’s a natural, focused state of awareness where imagination bridges the conscious and subconscious mind.

Your only job is to relax, be present, and trust the journey. You cannot do it wrong.

After the Session

~ Afterward, give yourself quiet time to integrate. You may feel peaceful, blissful, emotional, or energetically open.


~ Drink water, eat something grounding, and avoid jumping back into busy activities.


~ Pay attention to dreams, synchronicities, or shifts in emotion or perspective in the days that follow.


~ You’ll receive 7 days of integration support via text or email. You’re welcome to reach out with reflections, questions, or anything that arises as you continue processing.
